It has a rather narrow and somewhat thin band, but the detail is amazing and it has a very solid feel. I honestly think it is a wonderful ladies ring, with a fascinating story behind the meaning of the Claddagh symbol/design. It is a very petite ring so I honestly believe it looks best on smaller fingers. A woman with larger hands would probably prefer a band that is a bit thicker and wider. I highly recommend this ring as a gift for a best friend or a woman you love. I would also like to note that the seller shipped this item very quickly and it arrived only a few days after I ordered it. I couldn't be happier with this ring or with the merchant. =o)

The blue stone looks black it is a very dark blue. I'm not very girly girl, and I feel it fits me well. The crown can get caught on things a little easy, and it bends a little too easy but than again it's silver and silver is always like that. Needless to say I wear this ring every day and I love it :)

I believe that is due to the Celtic knot being a part of this Claddaugh ring. There is definitely no more space on my finger for another ring. My ring that I got is size 7. Given that, after I got over the larger size of the ring- I LOVE it! It was definitely worth the cost, which isn't much.

He loves it, the only problem is, the center band spins and kind of betrays the purpose of the Claddagh (positioning vs. marital status). Plus, if your man is a rough and tumble kind of guy, this might not be the ring you want. The band started to come apart after a while and dirt and gunk gets built up in it so it doesn't spin right. If you are purchasing it as a gift for a not so rough guy, it would be great, or if it was just meant to be worn every now and then. Don't count on it to be your engagement ring though, it's not so good for that.
