I do not know why they bothered to put the "diamond" in the ring. It is just one small chip that is hardly noticeable. It would have been better with out it in all honesty. If you were thinking that there were diamonds all around, there are not. It is just metal cut to look kind of like diamonds. I get a lot of compliments on the ring and it is a really nice size. The blue stone looks black it is a very dark blue. I'm not very girly girl, and I feel it fits me well. (More customer reviews)I bought this ring for my upcoming marriage as a way to cut on cost. After recieving the ring I was dissapointed at the workmanship of the whole product. There is discoloration in the silver around the edge of the ring and their is one black line where the piece of silver was seemingly welded together to make a ring. Further there are burrs on the inside of the band. Overall, yes you have a precious metal, but no you don't have a quality ring that you want anyone to take a close look at. There are better rings in other metals at this price point if your looking but this one did not make the mark.
