(More customer reviews)This was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend, he bought it as a promise ring, and it is gorgeous. The ring is a bit thicker than I thought it would be, because it took some getting used to when it hit the sides of my ring and index finger. The inside translation is in black but after spinning it around on my finger for a week, the black is starting to wear off. I would still recommend this ring to anyone, especially those with a thicker hand.

(More customer reviews)Overall, I like this ring, but there is one major flaw. The black ink in the engraving came off within the first week. Granted, I wear it in the shower and wash my hands a lot, but I did not expect the ink to come off. The words are still engraved in the metal, so you just have to look a little closer to see the writing. This doesn't bother me, but some people might be dissapointed. I got it as a gift, but I would buy this ring myself in a heartbeat.

What is given: Il mio coure el il tuo per sempre
What it should be: Il mio coure e' il tuo per sempre
There should be an accent over the e instead of an l, since the word "el" is acctually spanish for "the" but e' means "is". If you have the ring, just pretend it's a really funny looking accent.

(More customer reviews)My boyfriend bought this ring for me about a year ago, and I absolutely loved the design and the sentiment behind the inscription. Unfortunately, this ring has failed to withstand the test of time. First of all, it is unusually thick for a ring, and as a result I was unable to wear it on my ring finger comfortably. Furthermore, after wearing the ring several times, the black ink that filled in the inscribed letters had completely rubbed off! While the inscription is still legible, it is not quite as attractive as it initially was, and in addition the outside surface has quickly become scratched. I still love the idea behind the ring and will occasionally wear it, but it definitely did not live up to my expectations.

(More customer reviews)When I first saw it i was very excited because i was in a religon camp and we are required to have a symbol of purity. I figured amazon was very cheap and would give me the best price. It looked even better when it arrived . My only problem was that a day or 2 after i got it, the words started to thin off, and then it just started to look fake.
My advice would be if you are serious about getting a ring that does not thin off and would mean something to you , then pay more money for it and get a real one, but if your not commited and are getting it just for the sake of having one then go for it...
