Initially, when we were first engaged, she got me a Titanium ring with three cubic zirconium stones in it. I really liked that ring, and wore it for a few weeks on my right hand as a sort of engagement ring.
After only two weeks of wearing it, the ring was scratched like crazy. It seemed to have even more scratches than her white gold engagement ring.
We broke up and I lost the ring, not bothering to do anything about the loss.
Eventually we worked everything out and got back together.
Fast forward to our wedding. She gives me the ring this review is about, the 7mm 8.5 tungsten carbide ring. I love it. I've worn it for almost three weeks as of this writing and it still doesn't have a scratch on it.
I like it better than the titanium ring (Which we found while we were cleaning out the car) because it's darker, keeps it's shine, and doesn't have gaudy gems in it.
Honestly, they say titanium rings are so much lighter, but I can't really tell a difference between the two rings. I can tell the titanium ring is much lighter when I hold each of them in a different palm and move my hands up and down - but while wearing the rings I can't really feel any differences.
My cousin in law has a tungsten wedding band also. I compared his to mine, and after three years of marriage his still doesn't have any scratches.
Mine's bigger though. ;)

This ring looks great, much better than the plain white gold band. It is very durable as well, my hubby is an electrician and we own horses so he is always working with his hands in one way or another, so far this ring still looks great! I only wished that we had purchased this ring in the first place when we got married 2 years ago. Definitely an awesome value for the money!

I went to several jewelry stores to buy this wedding band for my soon-to-be-husband. They all wanted no less than $125 for their version- their version was 6-7mm, while this one is 8mm; the stores I went to wanted additional $$ for the comfort fit as well; and those other rings weren't nearly as beautiful as this one.
As for size, this seems to run just a little big, but not terribly big.
It arrived in no time at all. If you plan to give it as a gift, buy a ring box with it- it comes in a cardboard jewelry box.

I actually use it as a "Substitute" ring for when I'm fishing or hunting, as my wife doesn't want me to mess up our actual band. The quality of this ring is very good, and the comfort bevel they put on the inside actually does make it very comfortable to wear. It's very solid and heavy, being tungsten/carbide, and it's polished to a very high sheen. Also, with it being tungsten carbide it's virtually indestructable and doesn't scratch. I'd also like to note that the merchant was very gracious in handling my returns on this as it seems my finger wasn't the size I thought it was, which was not the merchants fault. They we're excellent in handling my claim, quickly and efficiently, and within two returns of my "Trial and Error" methodology they completely took care of me and I had what I wanted. It's well worth the money.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this ring on amazon.com and they delivered it before the estimated delivery date, about one week after the order, so I was very pleased wth the speed of the delivery.
The ring looks just like on the picture, beautiful, and sizing is correct and accurate, too. I went to three jewellery shop to ask my ring size (just to be sure), and they all measured 8, but as this ring is 8mm, they suggested that I should order one size bigger. I ordered a 9, and it fits just perfectly!
As far as I know, if a tungsten ring has carbide in it (as this one), it shouldn't scratch, so it should be scratch-proof, so to speak. So far, mine didn't scratch. :)
Only downside is - if I may call it that - it's a little heavy, but I already knew that when I was ordering, so I'm completely satisfied with this ring, and I will wear it for many years :)
