THIS RING IS DARKER THAN WHITE GOLD BUT AFTER A YEAR IT'S STILL SUPER SHINY AS NEW AND NOT DISTORTED AT ALL. MY HUSBAND, AS MOST MEN, PREFERS A DURABLE RING OVER THE PRESTIGE OF THE LITTLE 24K PRINTED ON THE INSIDE. CONSIDER THIS AN EXCELLENT ALTERNATIVE (AND MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE)!
