There is no difference than a white gold or platinum band. No one can tell it's a $8 surgical steel ring. You can't beat the price. I use it as a daily wedding band so I don't need to worry about scratch or loosing it. My wife is happy too because she doesn't worry about me loosing my expensive wedding ring.

This Quality Stainless Steel Band is made of Low Nickel 316L Hypo Allergenic Surgical Steel and is no different than the ones you pay for $60.00 to $200.00 each. It is about 1/4" (6mm) Wide, Satin Finished and there are small grooves carved out around the ring for a nice design. Available in sizes 8 to 14.
