Had an issue with the connecting piece that holds the pendent on the necklace on the silver one, but it was easily fixed and we haven't had any problems since then. A slight problem for whoever wears the silver pendent, the point is sharp and can hurt a bit, but it's not that big of a deal. Since this is just the pendent, I'd recommend getting a chain necklace. The black silk necklaces we started out with soon broke, but that is an issue with the necklace, not the pendent itself. All in all this is a wonderful gift for you and the one you love.
