(More customer reviews)I purchased this as a space holder to go with a beautiful ring to replace an old set, within 2 days of putting it on with no rough use at all, one of the pieces fell out. I went to the return option on the page and they only take returns if the item is not damaged and make no options when the piece they send you tears up with no cause within 2 days of owning it. I'll be sure to never order from them again. I feel a blog post coming. *sigh* really hoped it would work. Oh well. I guess I'll wear it til they all fall out. Might get half of my moneys worth.

But to my surprise is that they had arrived in the mail on Saturday. The earrings are beautiful, and though I had hoped the sapphires to be a bit darker, to match my wedding ring and necklace, it is a close match and they are beautiful!

I examined them. The gold bar is solid, with a slight outward swell(not straight up and down), that allows the drop to be displayed at it's best. The butterfly back is tension set and very secure. There are no openings in the circles that connect the earring components to the gold bar. Every part of the setting is solid and secure. Generally, I like deeper blue topaz, but these stones are ideal for the way they are set. The earrings are classic and elegant. They are light on the ear and comfortable. They're small--3/4 inch drop from the post. They have movement, but not enough to be distracting. Just enough to be noticed--very appropriate for business wear. These are truly classic, quality earrings that can be worn with anything, from jeans to dresswear. The earrings are presented in a midnight blue suede box with an ivory interior encased in a midnight blue gift box. I received these earrings one day after I was notified of shipment. Thanks again Amazon, I know I can get quality jewelry at a GREAT price from you.
