(More customer reviews)I bought this ring for my husband and another smaller identical ring for myself. It arrived within 5 working days. Overall the ring has a nice weight and is very comfortable to wear. I haven't subjected it to wear and tear as yet (will update as time goes along). As one should know tungsten carbide is one of the strongest material around, but just remember that the inlay abalone isn't.
NOTE: The abalone band around the ring isn't as 'seamless' as the picture shows, but rather is made out of 1/3 inch pieces placed together around the ring. The separation is visually apparent, and the abalone isn't as green and shiny as it is on the photo. Which is why I didn't rate this a 5 star. The metal has a dark hue to it, which I do like.
Overall the husband is thrilled about it, and that's more important to me.
Sept 18: two months down the line and the ring still looks as new as the day it arrived. No scratches nor dings on it. Our original wedding bands had all sorts of marks on it after a week (they were yellow/white gold) so we know how "un-dainty" we can be with jewelry. Both this and my husband's ring are still scratch-mark free and still have a good shine to it. Thank you West Coast Jewelry.
