(More customer reviews)This is an awesome ring! I already have my meaningful, custom, and expensive wedding band, but I needed a ring that I could play with. I love having my ring on all the time and use it as a symbol of my vows, so without it, I feel as naked as a naked mole rat. The problem with wearing my original ring is that I play a lot. That means lots of mountain biking, running, weight lifting, snowboarding, and wrenching on my toys. Environments definitely not for the weak of metal.
I decided that tungsten carbide was hard enough from other reviews, especially from my trusted local jeweler. However, paying for another expensive wedding band was out of the question. Enter, Amazon... I found this design just searching and thought, hey, I can spend $35 for what "seems" like tungsten carbide. And if it's not, I don't care if I get it scratched up.
It turns out this is the real deal. At least real enough to pass my "tests!" I took a sharp Henkle's knife to the inside of the ring and attempted to make a tiny scratch. However, nothing happened. Scratched a little harder... nothing. Started sawing the thing, and it looks like I scratched it. However, with a little rubbing and soft cloth, it looked like it wiped away. 5 months later and this thing took a beating and still... nothing! Can't say anything more about it, this thing is awesome!
