Yes tungsten is known to chip or break and sometimes even shatter! Every ring has a weak spot, If something happens and they have to get the ring off they can cut titanium off but they have to break tungsten off so of course they have a weak spot but if your careful with the ring you'll be fine and thats coming from the pro's at the jewelry store! If you have any questions call them they always answer any questions anyone has! The ring is amazing and even better in person! my man loves it!
