At first, I couldn't decide which way to wear it - black towards fingertip or the reverse. I chose black towards finger nail. It's a ring that makes a quiet statement of class. It's also a comfortable ring, and I have a feeling I'll wear it more often than other rings on my right ring finger. There was a SLIGHT delay in delivery, but I'm positive it had something to do with the huge snow storms, since the first Ashmil ring arrived quickly during the Christmas rush. Highly recommend any ring from Ashmil.
